On VaultTalks, your profile isn’t just a static card—it’s the heart of a lightweight social graph that powers discovery, DMs, and group conversations. Here’s how followers work, how to follow people back in one tap, and the other social features that make VaultTalks an international communication hub.
Your profile: who follows you (and who you follow)
Open any profile (including your own) to see follower and following counts. From there, jump to a dedicated Followers page—each person is shown with a clean avatar, name, and quick actions. If you’re viewing your own followers, you’ll see a Follow back button beside anyone you don’t follow yet. One tap, and they’re added to your network.
Follow back in one tap
The experience is intentionally simple:
On your profile: a “Followers” list highlights who already follows you, with clear Follow back buttons when applicable.
From search results: when you discover people, you can follow or unfollow instantly, and the UI reflects mutual relationships (e.g., badges like “follows you” and “mutual”).
Under the hood: the follow/unfollow endpoint is lightweight and returns your new relationship state immediately, so the UI stays snappy.
Discover people you care about
Type a name or username and VaultTalks returns relevant accounts—friendly to partial names and different orders (e.g., first/last or last/first). You’ll also see whether they follow you, and whether the connection is mutual, so you can decide at a glance if you want to follow back.
Private chats that feel instant
Every follow-back can become a conversation. From a profile, tap Message to open a direct chat. Messages are lightweight, real-time, and capped at 1,000 characters so threads stay focused and readable. You can also delete your own messages; admins can moderate when needed.
Public group: say hello to everyone
Not everything needs to be a DM. Jump into the Public Vault Talk to meet people, ask questions, or share updates with the whole community. It’s great for building reach beyond your immediate followers—and for discovering new people you may want to follow.
Built for a global audience
VaultTalks is designed for international communication: low-friction onboarding, fast search, and instant actions make it easy to connect across time zones. The interface favors clarity (clean typography, responsive cards, strong contrast) so the experience holds up on any device and any bandwidth.
Safety, control, and trust
Password reset: secure, email-based reset flow that doesn’t leak account info.
Account controls: log out anywhere, and even delete your account if you wish.
Moderation hooks: users can remove their own posts; admins can keep the public space healthy.
Why this feels like a social network (without the bloat)
Follow graph: opt-in discovery; your home shows people you chose to follow.
Mutuals: see when connections go both ways—it’s a subtle trust signal.
Profiles: a simple, central place for identity, actions, and counts.
One-tap actions: follow back, message, or view followers in seconds.
Public square: one big room to meet new people and grow your network.
