🔐 Step 1: Add Your Finnhub API Key

  1. Sign up at finnhub.io
  2. Copy your API key
  3. Go to your Chartledge Portfolio
  4. Paste the key and click Save

Your API key is securely encrypted and stored on your account — Chartledge does not view, share, or use your key for any other purpose.

You can delete your key at any time and take it with you — it's your data, your access, and your choice.

📥 Step 2: Add Your Investments

  1. Click "Add Investment"
  2. Enter the ticker (e.g., AAPL, BTC)
  3. Input your investment amount

Chartledge supports over 65,000 global ticker symbols, including:

  • ✅ Stocks — from NYSE, NASDAQ, and international exchanges
  • ✅ Cryptos — thousands of digital assets from Binance, CoinGecko, and more

If it's listed, Chartledge can likely track it in real time.

🔄 Step 3: Refresh Your Portfolio

  • 📈 View real-time portfolio values
  • 📊 Monitor gains and losses in both dollar amounts and percentages
  • 🧮 Access key financial metrics such as P/E ratio, PEG ratio, and dividend yield

Click "Refresh" to update your portfolio.
Note: Data refreshes are limited to once every 15 seconds.

📤 Step 4: Export Your Data

Need a copy for taxes, performance tracking, or deeper analysis?

  1. Go to your Portfolio
  2. Click "Export to Excel"

Your export includes all key metrics and performance data for your stocks and cryptocurrencies.

Use your file with tools like Excel, Google Sheets, Python, or even ChatGPT to generate summaries, perform custom analysis, or create visual reports.
